about us
The practice has been present in the community for many years; initially under the stewardship of Dr. Morcie Smith, followed by his daughter-in-law Dr. Goldie Smith, and is now under the ownership of husband and wife Drs. Alexander Plevris and Ly Ngo. At Signature Family Dental, we strive to provide quality dental care in a relaxing environment.
We understand that dental appointments are often a source of anxiety- and many of our patients have left feeling more at ease than when they entered. We also offer many services that are able to meet the everyday needs of our patients and for those needs unable to be met in-office we have a healthy network of specialists in the area. Lastly, one of our goals is to educate and foster long-term relationships with our patients.

A root canal is indicated when the nerve of the tooth is dead or if it is irreversibly in the process of dying. This is oftentimes due to a cavity or trauma to the tooth. The nerve and inflamed tissues are removed, and then the tooth is sealed. Upon completion of the root canal it is important that the tooth is appropriately restored to prevent contamination of the canal.
