A root canal is indicated when the nerve of the tooth is dead or if it is irreversibly in the process of dying oftentimes due to a cavity or trauma. The nerve and inflamed tissue is removed, the tooth is then sealed and repaired appropriately.
Crown & Bridge- a single-unit crown to encapsulate the tooth which is then cemented on. Typically used for teeth that may already have a fracture and or fillings present. Multi-unit bridges are also possible to replace a missing tooth (or teeth) by bridging over the gap. They are typically ceramic tooth-colored units.
Implant restorations-once the implant has successfully integrated and the tissues healed and stabilized, a crown is then inserted onto the implant. Again, they are typically ceramic tooth-colored units
